Choose the right starting point
Establish or extend QA
Use Anbosoft when you need testing expertise, a repeatable regression process or additional capacity alongside your developers and internal QA team.
Bring a defined problem
A release backlog, unreliable automated tests, an important integration or a new AI feature gives us a concrete starting point for deciding scope.
Know the limits
QA informs a release decision; it does not guarantee defect-free software. If you need product development ownership, legal certification or round-the-clock incident response, discuss those needs separately before selecting a testing engagement.
One coverage plan, several ways to test
Manual and exploratory testing
Explore real user journeys, investigate unexpected behavior and evaluate usability. Human judgment helps identify risks that scripted checks may miss.
Test automation
Automate stable, repeatable checks at the appropriate UI, API or integration layer. Review test reliability and maintenance needs before expanding the suite.
Specialist testing
Add performance, accessibility, compatibility, security or AI evaluation where the product’s risks call for it. Select the environments, data and acceptance criteria together.
How scope is selected
We start with critical user journeys, upcoming changes, past defects, supported platforms and the impact of failure. The coverage plan names what will be tested, what is excluded, and what depends on access, test data or third-party systems.
A narrow first phase can focus on a release or high-risk workflow. Broader regression coverage and automation can follow once the initial results and maintenance needs are understood.
Deliverables to agree in your scope
Test strategy and coverage plan
A record of risks, test types, environments, priorities, acceptance criteria and exclusions. This gives your team a shared basis for deciding what “tested” means.
Reproducible defect reports
Steps to reproduce, environment and build details, expected and actual behavior, supporting evidence and severity. Reports can fit your existing issue tracker.
Automation and handover
For automation engagements: agreed test scripts, execution instructions, environment dependencies and maintenance guidance. Ownership and repository access are settled before work starts.
Release-readiness reporting
A summary of executed, passed, failed and blocked tests; unresolved issues; coverage gaps; and recommended next actions. Your product team retains the release decision.
Set measurable improvement targets
Start with a baseline assessment, then agree targets that fit your product, test scope and delivery constraints. The figures below are proposed project goals, subject to that assessment, rather than measured results or guaranteed improvements.
| Measurement | Proposed goal | How we measure it |
|---|---|---|
| Regression execution time | 30+% less time | Compare median elapsed time for the same regression suite and environment before and after the pilot, including reruns. |
| Manual regression effort | 25+% less effort | Compare engineer hours per equivalent regression cycle, including test maintenance, failure investigation and reruns. |
| Critical workflow automation | 70+% coverage | Automate and maintain passing checks for at least 70% of the agreed critical workflows suitable for automation. Report the covered and total workflow counts. |
Before work starts, we agree the baseline, measurement window, eligible scope and acceptance criteria. Reports show the actual results against those targets, including limitations and any trade-offs in coverage or reliability.
An illustrative release-readiness summary
Illustrative format only — not a client deliverable or a measured project result. The final report structure depends on your engagement.
| Area | Example entry |
|---|---|
| Critical journey | Checkout and payment retry |
| Coverage | Agreed browser and API checks completed |
| Open risk | Duplicate-charge scenario needs investigation |
| Decision input | Hold the affected change pending investigation |
Clear responsibilities from the start
Anbosoft’s contribution
Within the agreed scope, we plan and execute testing, investigate defects, maintain agreed automated checks and communicate findings and blockers.
Your team’s contribution
Provide a product owner, expected behavior, builds, authorized access and suitable test data. Your engineers resolve product defects and your release owner decides when to ship.
Shared decisions
Agree priorities, severity definitions, reporting cadence, escalation contacts and acceptance criteria. Revisit scope when requirements, access or release dates change.
Choose an engagement model
QA as a Service
Anbosoft coordinates an agreed testing scope and reporting process. Suitable when you need help establishing or operating QA rather than only adding individual contributors.
Staff augmentation
Testing specialists join your existing workflow. Your team directs priorities and day-to-day work while adding the skills or capacity it needs.
Dedicated testing team
A test lead and testing engineers work on an agreed product or workstream. Team composition, responsibilities and continuity are defined for the engagement.
From first conversation to useful results
Understand the product
Share your product, users, release plans and current QA challenges. We discuss where testing could help and which questions need more investigation.
Agree scope and access
Define deliverables, estimates, exclusions and responsibilities. Identify test environments, approved accounts, data handling requirements and any procurement dependencies.
Run a focused first phase
Start with the agreed workflows and report defects and blockers. Review findings together before expanding coverage or automation.
Review and transfer knowledge
Share results, remaining risks and next priorities. Agree how test assets and product knowledge will be maintained or handed over.
AI-assisted QA and testing AI products
AI-assisted QA delivery
AI tools can assist with drafting test ideas, documentation or automation work. Testers review their output. Tool choice and use of client data must be agreed for the engagement.
Testing AI products
When AI is part of your product, test its behavior as well as the surrounding software: evaluation datasets, task completion, tool use, response quality, failure recovery and regression checks.
Costs, dependencies and next steps
The existing engagement options include hourly and fixed-price work. Estimates depend on product complexity, coverage, environments, specialist skills, automation maintenance and access readiness. Agree a spending limit or change-approval process before expanding scope.
Start dates, any minimum commitment, assessment fees and service levels are agreed in the proposal. Share your priorities to discuss a scoped QA assessment and what its deliverables would include.
